New York Bariatrics has employed RemedyMD.com since 2005 for the many tasks that are required to maintain a bariatric surgery program.  The program allows us to track patients from the the very beginning consult appointment, through each pre-operative appointment, surgery itself and all the follow up visits thereafter.  As an ASMBS Bariatric Surgery Center of Excellence, we are required to track patient progress in the form of follow up statistics.  This progress report is ongoing and is contributed to a larger body of knowledge nationwide.  It is easy to use and very straightforward; each field is self-explanatory and clearly mapped out for the user of RemedyMD in all areas.

Patients benefit from it as well.  They are given access to a tracking tool to measure their week to week post operative progress that encourages them to be conpliant and active in the care of their new bariatric bodies.  Patients can be as visible or private on the RemedyMD site as they wish, interacting with each other and the professional community of their bariatric caretakers.

I enjoy using RemedyMD and shall continue to as long as I am in the business of bariatric patient care.  It is an invaluable resource and supportive tool in many ways; I feel quite fortunate to have it within reach on a daily basis.
